Join us for a special screening of Mark D. Williams (award-winning Choctaw filmmaker) new documentary presented as part of the Native Spotlight Series sponsored by the Flint Family Foundation. Q&A following the film with Mark D Williams.
The film tells of the history of Mississippi Choctaw Stickball aka kapucha toli and the World Series tournament and what it would mean for one particular small community, Standing Pine, to bring home the title for the first time.
Native Spotlight is a quarterly series at Circle Cinema showcasing the diverse variety of the Native American and indigenous experience through film. Sponsored by the Flint Family Foundation.
