Saturday, October 15 | 10am-6pm
East Admiral Boulevard between Yorktown and Lewis

About the Festival

Kendall Whittier comes alive with local art vendors, gallery shows, food trucks, live music, interactive art and kids activities, creating an environment to enjoy and foster the arts for the whole family.

About the District

Kendall Whittier Main Street is a Certified Cultural District, a 2020 Great American Main Street and home to art staples like Tulsa Girls Art School, Circle Cinema and Ziegler Art & Frame.

Interactive & Live Art

In addition to 75 local art vendors, the Kendall Whittier Arts Festival features live and interactive art and activities! See below for a few key highlights.

Live Graffiti Art

Local artists Chris Sker, David Hek and Robby Entaker will be doing a live mural in graffiti style on the back of a building in the middle of the Arts Festival.

Poetry on the Spot

Zack Reeves will create poetry on the spot for you. Using an old typewriter, his poems can be about any topic you like, for any price you like.

Live Screen-Printing

Flash Flood Print Studio will be on site during the festival to make t-shirts on demand – choose from any classic Tulsa-themed shirts or a special festival one!

Kendall Whittier Arts Festival presents a musical lineup featuring…

Philbrook Kids Zone

Little artists are welcome to the free Philbrook Kids Zone! Open throughout the festival, the Kids Zone features art projects with Philbook Museum, yard games (jenga, cornhole, tic tac toe, connect four), chalk art and face-painting by Jessica Gutierrez — all for free! Join Reading Partners for story time at noon and 2 p.m.!

Kids Art show

In partnership with University of Tulsa True Blue Neighbors, students from Kendall-Whittier and Sequoyah elementary schools will have art work on display at the event! Stop by and see the 100 unique pieces designed by local students – and pick one up for a small donation! Proceeds are donated back the schools.

Reading Partners Story Time

Reading Partners are hosting a free story time in the Philbrook Kids Zone twice during the festival. Stop by and hear a story at noon and 2 p.m., and visit with Reading Partners to learn more in between story times!
