Board Member
The Kendall Whittier Main Street Board of Directors meets monthly on the third Monday at noon. Board members set the budget, action plans and priorities for Main Street.

To be considered, a prospective Board member should be involved in one of the following ways:

1) Become an active member of a committee or taskforce, and serve a minimum of six months in that capacity
2) Volunteer at 2-3 annual events, activations or projects

This prior relationship allows the prospective Board member to have a strong understanding of the interworkings of the organization and a well-rounded, holistic view of the projects and Main Street’s Four-Point Approach. It also provides a strong understanding of the expectations for Board and staff.
