Nosferatu (1922) with live score by Dustin Edward Howard

October 15, 2021 @ 9:30 pm - 11:30 pm

The Symphony of Horror will sound spookier than ever as Emmy-winning composer Dustin Edward Howard plays a live original score to the 1922 classic Nosferatu. Based in Tulsa, Dustin combines his skills as a versatile multi-instrumentalist with his passion for sound engineering, sound design, and production. He is influenced by everything from vintage video game scores and 70’s horror synth soundtracks to Prog Rock and ambient noise. He is equally as comfortable creating analog scores as he is composing digital scores.
Tickets $12 Circle Members, $15 general.
A silent-era masterpiece, Nosferatu’s eerie, gothic feel and a chilling performance from Max Schreck as the vampire set the template for the horror films that followed. From his Transylvanian castle, the mysterious Count Orlok (Max Schreck) looks to casts his shadow over a small German village. Directed by F.W. Murnau, originally released in 1922. The film is not rated, but suitable for ages 12 and up.
