Career criminal Ida “Red” Walker is battling a terminal illness while serving a 25-year prison sentence for armed robbery in the outlaw state of Oklahoma. She has little time left to live. Under Ida’s tutelage, her son Wyatt has sustained the family business alongside his violent uncle Dallas. When a job goes awry, local detective (and Wyatt’s brother-in-law) Bodie Collier is joined by an FBI agent to find the culprits. With Wyatt’s sister’s daughter (Brodie’s step-daughter) also entwined in the inter-family dynamics, Wyatt and Dallas try to evade Bodie and the FBI while also planning their last big hit that should set them up for life and simultaneously work on their most important job of all – freeing Ida from jail at any cost so she can live her last dying breaths as a free woman.
