At 7:00p, see the best fly fishing films from around the world. The Gadget Company will be donating several fly fishing related merch and gear items to be raffled off during the intermission of the film.
The live entertainment will include the debut of a new beer from Heirloom Rustic Ales available for purchase at the Circle Bar. Food will be on sale from Ruth’s Chicken, Tulsa’s only gluten-free, nut-free food trailer, with all to-go products packaged in eco-friendly materials. The band Pilgrim, led by powerhouse vocalist Beau Robertson and joined by multi-instrumentalist Jesse Aycock, will deliver down-home lyrics combined with swampy grooves to create a gritty, soulful sound that makes you want to kick off your shoes and stay a while.
Trout Unlimited Chapter 420 will be onsite throughout the event to raise awareness about local conservation efforts and fly fishing opportunities. Liz Blood, creator and editor of the Creative Field Guide to Northeastern Oklahoma, will also be in attendance with a limited supply of field guides to give away.
At 7:00p, the festivities will move into the theater to watch the 2022 Fly Fishing Film Tour. The program features a top notch selection of films that are sure to feed your fishing addiction, shot on locations from Costa Rica, Maryland, Belize, Louisiana, Alabama, Australia, Colombia and beyond. Follow a legendary spear fisherman across the endless atolls of Belize, watch as a mother passes her passion for fishing down to the next generation, and explore the history of one of the most legendary tarpon fisheries in the word at Casa Mar.
