The 2nd Sat Silent Series features a classic silent film every month, with a live improvised score played by Bill Rowland of the American Theater Organ Society on Circle Cinema’s restored 1928 Robert Morton theatre pipe organ. Come early for pre-show entertainment with classic songs played by Circle House Organist Phil Judkins.

This month’s film is Torrent, a 1926 romance starring Greta Garbo in her first Hollywood picture. Garbo plays a glamorous opera star who returns home to resume her romance with the nobleman who once dumped her.
