With a line up of art- and culture-focused events in Kendall Whittier this year, Kendall Whittier Main Street is seeking sponsors to make these dreams a reality.
“Events are such a major part of the work we do in the district. Events support small businesses and entrepreneurs. They are an opportunity for the residents and visitors to have something free and fun to do. They celebrate Kendall Whittier’s culture and history,” said Jessica Jackson Seay, executive director of Kendal Whittier Main Street. “And sponsors are the life blood of these types of public events. They are essential.”
Sponsorships start as low as $250 and go up to Presenting Sponsor at $2,500. Some sponsorships are specialized, like a Kids Zone, Entertainment or Media sponsor. In-kind sponsorships and customized packages are also available.
“We wanted to make sure there was a variety of price ranges so anyone who wants to help or is looking for the added exposure event sponsorships bring can still take part,” Jackson Seay said. “Supporting the community while promoting your own business should be accessible to businesses big and small.”
Each level has different perks, with every sponsor being listed online and named on-site at the event. Some options include a free booth rental or VIP access at the event. Higher levels include logos on event posters, flyers or maps.
A full list of sponsorship opportunities, including pricing and perks, can be found online. There’s even an online form for anyone inquiring or registering to become a sponsor.
For businesses looking to make a larger impact, District Sponsorships are also available. District Sponsorships include a Presenting Sponsorship at all events, company logo on KWMS’ homepage and its weekly e-newsletter, and an opportunity to be on the all-event flyer. District Sponsors also have industry exclusive rights. For more information on District Sponsorships, please call or text Jackson Seay at 918-633-1934 or email info@visitkendallwhittier.com.

Three events will be part of a Los Festivales y Mercados series, which will take place on July 23, September 17 and December 17. The September event will be the annual Mexican Independence Day Celebration and December will be a Kendall Whittier take on Las Posadas. All three events will include Mercado vendors.
The Kendall Whittier Arts Festival will line the streets with local art vendors and live music on October 15. The 2021 Arts Festival was the largest Kendall Whittier event to date with two stages, a free Kids Zone and more than 60 artists.
