Kendall Whittier Main Street is always looking for volunteers to join our team in supporting Kendall Whittier revitalization! Whether you'd like to get involved with a committee to help brainstorm and execute ideas, assist with a special skill or even get volunteer hours for school - we have a place for you! KWMS is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

Design Committee

Directs attention to the design quality of areas by renovating and constructing buildings, improving signs with an ultimate goal of creating attractive and usable public places. The Design Committee shapes the physical image of Kendall Whittier Main Street as a place attractive to shoppers, investors, business owners, and investors.

Organization Committee

Establishes consensus and cooperation by building collaboration among a broad range of public and private sector groups, organizations, and constituents. The Organization Committee provides for effective, ongoing management and advocacy for the neighborhood commercial district.

Economic Vitality Committee

Strengthens the community’s existing economic assets while diversifying its economic base. While providing support and educational experiences for business owners, the Economic Vitality Committee will concentrate on strengthening the district’s existing economic base.

Promotions Committee

Creates a positive image of KWMS to rekindle community pride in different forms including improvement of retail sales, events, and festivals. The Promotions Committee has the task of promoting Kendall Whittier as the center of commerce, culture, and community life for residents and visitors.
