Kendall Whittier Main Street was created in 2010 when volunteers and staff rolled their sleeves up and got to work to transform the seedy “red light” district of Tulsa now at Admiral and Lewis. Kendall Whittier is not only a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, but also a nationally accredited Main Street program. We are one of 32 Main Street programs in the state of Oklahoma, among approximately 800 programs accredited by the National Main Street Center in the U.S. Together we work to bring about transformation by implementing the proven four-point approach created by Main Street America.
