This grant is offered by the Kendall Whittier Improvement District. The purpose of this grant is to assist Kendall Whittier businesses in preventing, protecting against, and mitigating the impacts of crime, fire, natural disaster and/or inclement weather, health emergencies, or other safety threats.

This grant provides financial support to businesses to preserve historic places and spur economic development along the Route 66 corridor, with an emphasis on projects that illuminate the narratives of communities whose places and stories have been historically underrepresented. Applications due January 23.
