Kassidy Wickersham
Volunteer, Arts Festival

Anyone attending the Kendall Whittier Arts Festival earlier this month and listening to the music may have seen everything go on without a hitch, which is due in large part to volunteer Kassidy Wickersham.

Kassidy, a community relations representative at Holberton Tulsa by day, has been the lead in organizing the main stage at the Kendall Whittier Arts Festival for the last two years as a volunteer.

With a passion for live music and a desire to bring it to Kendall Whittier, Kassidy served countless hours on the Arts Festival committee, helping determine layout, book a great selection of local talent and execute the event flawlessly.

“Kassidy is a major asset to the Arts Festival committee,” said the executive director of Kendall Whittier Main Street. “Without her, the festival would be nearly impossible to pull off.”

Additionally, Kassidy serves as a Board member of Humble Warrior Collective, whose mission is to builds strong communities filled with hope by providing access to mindfulness and yoga tools, empowering individuals to overcome cycles of neglect, violence and trauma.

Staff Says: “Kassidy’s work on the Kendall Whittier Arts Festival is invaluable. She leads the charge in booking all the musical entertainment and has been our emcee the last two years. She’s also been at the festival from well beyond start to well after it ends.” – Jessica Jackson Seay, executive director.

Kassidy Says: “I love to volunteer with the Arts Festival because I believe Tulsa has the best artists — from our visual artists, our makers, to our musicians! We have such a vibrant art scene in this city, and I love supporting the Tulsa art community!” – Kassidy Wickersham

Fun Fact About Kassidy: Kassidy’s favorite Tulsa memory is seeing Dr. Dog with friends at Cain’s Ballroom.
