Kendall Whittier Main Street’s annual fundraiser, K-Dub Grub & Suds, is back on Tuesday, Aug. 24 for a tasty, foodie inspired event.
A mashup of two former events – the Kendall Whittier Ale Trail and Taste of Kendall Whittier – K-Dub Grub & Suds gives attendees an opportunity to sample brews and food in one, self-guided event.
“K-Dub Grub & Suds is the ultimate foodie event, featuring delicious bites from Kendall Whittier eateries plus samples of the district’s best craft brews,” said Jessica Jackson Seay, executive director of Kendall Whittier Main Street, the event’s host. “It’s self-guided and gives guests the opportunity to taste at their own pace.”
K-Dub Grub & Suds is from 6-9 p.m. on Aug. 24. Guests can arrive — and leave – however it works best in their schedules. The event will take place at the breweries at the Taproom at Marshall’s Brewing, Cabin Boys Brewery or American Solera.
For one ticket price of $50, attendees get samples from 10 restaurants and eateries, 10 4-oz pours (two per brewery), a souvenir taster glass and a $5 Uber credit to get home safely.
Guests also have an opportunity to win a prize – two tickets to Escape to Margaritaville ($120 value) for Sept. 5 and a $50 gift card to the Kendall Whittier brewery of their choice.

In addition to the breweries listed above, Heirloom Rustic Ales and Renaissance Brewery will be present. Participating eateries include: 1907 Barbecue, Bub’s, Circle Cinema, Farrell Bread & Bakery, Flo’s Burger Diner, Jane’s Delicatessen, Justin Thompson Catering, Mediterranean Cottage, Pancho Anaya Bakery and The Whit.
“There’s no way you’ll leave without a full belly,” Jackson Seay said. “It’s the perfect event for people who like to try new restaurants and beers. Everything is available in a nice, tidy event!
Samples will be provided inside. Attendees and volunteers are strongly encouraged to wear masks indoors regardless of vaccination status. Outdoor patio seating will be available at all locations, and hand sanitizer also will be widely available.
To start, ticket holders should check in with Main Street volunteers at any of the three brewery locations listed above. They’ll receive a wrist band, a tasting glass and Grub & Suds Passport and Map.
Those who get stamps from all five breweries and turn in their “Grub & Suds Passport” will be entered to win the Tulsa PAC tickets and brewery gift card. You do not have to be present to win.
