Eric Marshall
Past President, Board of Directors

If Eric Marshall is in your court, he’ll make sure he’s going to do whatever he can to make things easier for everyone else. He’s the first the pitch in to tear down an event or help with another clean up effort. In fact, the whole Marshall family has even pitched in before!

Eric joined the Kendall Whittier Main Street Board of Directors in 2015. Since then, he’s been one of the organization’s most dedicated and loyal Board members. In 2020, he took over as Board President, serving a year at the helm during a particularly difficult year. Eric also serves on both the Design + Beautification and the Fundraising committees.

Founder and owner of Marshall Brewing Company, Eric is just as concerned about the success of his fellow business owners as he is for his own. He wants to see everyone in Kendall Whittier thrive.

After the stress to Marshall Brewing during the closures and pandemic in 2020, the building next to The Taproom at Marshall Brewing went up in flames. Damage to the taproom forced it to close once again as repairs and smoke damage was resolved.

“[We were] the recipient of the outpouring of love and support after last year’s fire,” Marshall said. “Literally from the ashes of a nightmare came so many random acts of love and kindness from so many in the community and around the world. It was very humbling and incredibly beautiful. I am forever grateful for the amazing support.”

Staff Says: “Eric’s passion for Kendall Whittier is deep. He loves this district. Not only did he choose to open his business in Kendall Whittier, but also he’s invested countless hours of his time to see it improve and become what it is today. I don’t know where we’d be without his dedication and leadership.” – Jessica Jackson Seay, executive director.

Eric Says: “I have been involved with KWMS for many years now, and I am so happy to see how it has grown and evolved. When I decided to locate my business in KW, I did so because I saw an incredible amount of potential right in the heart of Tulsa. I was asked to join the organization and wanted to do my part to help in the revitalization of the neighborhood, but now KW is a part of me and Marshall Brewing Co. and I want to see many great things continue to happen in the neighborhood.” – Eric Marshall

Fun Fact About Eric: If Eric could join any fictional family, he would choose the Griswolds. “At least there wouldn’t be a dull moment!”

Every month in 2022, Kendall Whittier Main Street will be announcing a Volunteer Spotlight. This may be an individual who has gone above and beyond on a project for Kendall Whittier Main Street that month, or it may be a long-time volunteer who deserves recognition for years of service.
