It’s these principles that will make anyone visiting LTO | MKT (Limited Time Only Market) feel like a VIP. Located in the Shops at Mother Road Market, LTO | MKT features an always-evolving, carefully curated collection of local and national finds.
The space, which officially opened in September, also hosts renowned artists and makers to produce unique limited edition items that support great causes.
“Everything about LTO is unique,” said Elizabeth Frame Ellison, President and CEO of the Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation. “Whether it’s a new artist series, a new merchant, or a completely different takeover – LTO | MKT is constantly changing, and can have a new local or national treasure waiting for you each time you come in.”
LTO | MKT is also all about paying it forward. With each product line connected to an artist’s series, a percentage of the proceeds go to a community organization. For Matt Goad’s “Kick’s” line of t-shirts, beanies and prints currently in store, a portion of the proceeds support Hunger Free Oklahoma.
Also in store, visitors will find a limited run of “Bluford” the Whale ornaments by local maker Sarah Bowen. She creates her pieces by hand and only made 25 total for this limited run.
“So many incredible entrepreneurs, makers and artists call Tulsa home, and it’s community support – especially during the holiday season – that keeps these businesses thriving and a vibrant part of our community,” Ellison said.
In the future, Ellison said she hopes to see LTO | MKT continue supporting great causes in the community and eventually hosting national brands that can continue to bring exposure and create new experiences.
“We envision bringing back the spirit of innovation that once defined Route 66, and we’d love to continue to see the neighborhood and businesses in our community drive that spirit of innovation and community pride forward,” she said.
