Kendall Whittier Main Street is once again partnering with Foster Corner Drug (Perry, OK), St. Francis Xavier Church, and Growing Together to bring another Covid-19 vaccine clinic to the neighborhood! Join the Facebook event here.
The clinic will take place on Friday, Dec. 3 from 3-7 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Activity Center, 2434 E. Admiral Blvd. Those seeking the vaccine can enter through the doors on the west side of the Center and can park at either the parking lot off Atlanta Avenue or the one off Admiral Boulevard.
Foster Corner Drug will be administering first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine to anyone ages 5+ and booster shots to anyone ages 18+. Flu shots will also be available for kids. Visit this link to see if you are eligible to receive a booster shot.
All forms will be provided in English and Spanish. Volunteers from Growing Together will be there to provide assistance in both languages as well.
“It’s extremely important to us that the Covid-19 vaccine be easily accessible to everyone,” says KWMS Community Engagement Coordinator Sydney Alison. “There should be little to no barriers to receive a vaccine for a preventable illness.”
Although appointments are not required, they are encouraged. Please fill out and bring this Vaccine Consent Form to your appointment (you can book your appointment here.) Extra forms will be available at the clinic for walk-ins.
“Currently, vaccinations are our best shot against the COVID virus,” says Michelle Taylor, Foster Corner Drug Vaccine Coordinator, who administered more than 200 Covid-19 vaccines at KWMS clinics in April and May. “It has been a privilege to travel and be part of getting Oklahoma vaccinated, and hopefully on the road to wellness. Thankful to be a part of this vaccination effort!”
If you have any questions before or after the clinic, please email Foster Corner Drug at email@example.com or call their COVID Hotline at (580) 370-5202.
