#ilubkdub Giveaway
We know you ‘lub’ the K-Dub, so show your love with this fun, social media challenge! For the week leading up to Valentine’s Day, take to your social media accounts and shout out to your three (or more!) favorite Kendall Whittier businesses, tagging them and using the hashtag #ilubkdub. Then, challenge your friends to do the same!

You’ll get one entry for each business you tag. Since Valentine’s Day is all about the pairs and this is a giveaway after all, two lucky winners will be chosen on Saturday, February 13 at 10 a.m. Winners can pick up their prize that afternoon between 1-5 p.m. at Felizsta, 1102 S. Lewis Ave. Winners will receive a I Lub K-Dub shirt, a small tin of cookies from Felizsta, a small bouquet from Ever Something or Anthousai and a $10 gift card to whichever business won them the prize.

One floral arrangement option is one of Kendall Whittier’s newest businesses, Anthousai. Each arrangement is artistically designed and comes in a low vase filled with lush, seasonal flowers, textures and foliages in sandy whites, peaches and pale yellows. Prices start at $60, and arrangements can be pre-ordered here.

Anthousai also offers add-ons through a partnership with Charcuteray and Vintage Wine Bar. The Small Cheese & Charcuterie Box contains a seasonal variety of produce and accoutrements, paired artfully with high-quality cheese & charcuterie meats. It feeds two for snacking. On the wine front, the options are 2017 Apaltagua Pinot Noir Reserva from San Antonia Valley, Chile, or Barnard Griffin Sauvignon Blanc from Columbia Valley, Wash.

Orders will be available for curbside pickup or delivery anytime Friday, Feb. 12 through Sunday, Feb. 14. Orders close Feb. 10.


Ever Something

Ever Something offers several styles and price points for floral design and arrangements. Options include the classic compote style, wrapped bouquet, Ever Mini, a taller arrangement in a glass vase, golden hour, or dried + fresh arrangement. Prices start at $45, and arrangements can be pre-ordered online here.

All arrangements are available for pick up at the shop or delivered on Feb. 13 or Feb. 14. Ever Something will also be open from Friday, Saturday and Sunday but they will stop taking orders once full.

What is a surefire way to say ‘I Love You’? Freshly baked cookies, of course! Grab a Valentine’s Day cookies from Felizsta. Prices start at $14.99 for a cookie combo with pink, red, white sprinkled cookies and heart shaped cookies, $19.99 for a four-pack sampler and $24.99 for the Cookie Gift Box, including almost a pound of the heart shaped pan de polvo cookies (cinnamon, sugar, pecan) and wrapped up in a beautiful see through box with pink crinkle cut and a tied bow.

All Felizsta’s cookies are hand cut, baked from scratch in small batches. There is a limited supply, so pre-orders are highly encouraged. For shipping, place orders by Feb. 8. Order online here.

 

The Whit
The Whit Catering is offering a Valentine’s Day Get Down for two meal. The meal includes either Lobster of Cauliflower Bisque, a lentil and arugula salad, a cherry smoked rack of lamb, mahi-mahi en papillote, glazed baby carrots, roasted salt potatoes, and mocha pots de crème for dessert.

Pickup will be available Feb. 13 from 3-5 p.m. at El Guapo in downtown Tulsa (332 E. 1st St.), or no-contact delivery can be added for $15. The deadline to order is Feb. 8.

 

Veldy’s Artisan Cheese & Wine, 2439 E. 11th St.
Want something a little lighter? Consider pre-ordering Valentine’s Day boards from Veldy’s Artisan Cheese and Wine. Meats, cheeses, olives and other delicious bites are beautifully coordinated in a heart-shaped box for the Metal Blended Heart at $58. A Dessert Heart is also available for $38. Both include a mini bottle of champagne.

‘Love’ly Events Before Valentine’s Day

Anthousai, 2411 E. Admiral Blvd.
Anthousai will be open Feb. 11 (12-6pm), Feb. 12 (10am-6pm), Feb. 13 (10am-6pm) and Feb. 14 (9am-1pm) for last minute shopping! Gift items include chocolates, teas, candles, baskets and on Friday and Saturday, plants from Bayly Botanicals.

Pairing Night: Chocolate & Beer at Cabin Boys, 1717 E. 7th St.
Wednesday, Feb. 10, 7-8:30 p.m. | $30
Cabin Boys Brewery and Glacier Confection have teamed up for a guided tasting experience led by local experts. Each $30 ticket includes a flight of five beers paired perfectly with five chocolate truffles from Glacier Confection. Seating is limited to accommodate social distancing, and masks are required.

Walks In Beauty: An Evening of Poetry at The Studio, 2221 E. Admiral Blvd.
Friday, Feb. 12, 6-10 p.m. | $15/person or $20/couple
The Studio is celebrating love and all things lovely in one unforgettable night with ‘Walks In Beauty: An Evening of Poetry.’ The night features readings from published poets Alyssa Brown and Zhenya Yevtushenko, both from Tulsa, and also Lateesch Corner, of Houston. Q&A’s with each poet will follow, and there will be an opportunity to purchase their published works.

Galentine’s Day

Grab your gals and come learn how to build your very own floral arrangement at Bar 473 in partnership with Hide Tide Blooms. High Tide will provide the a variety of flowers, the vases and the scissors, plus some tips and tricks to help you make the best arrangement possible.

There are two one-hour workshops – one starting at 2 p.m. and one at 3 p.m. Tickets are $50 and limited to the first 10 guests per workshop.
