Kendall Whittier Main Street has placed suggestion boxes in different locations in Kendall Whittier as a way to encourage the public to offer insight and suggestions.

“We are always looking for ways to improve our organization and better serve Tulsa,” said Jessica Jackson Seay, executive director of Kendall Whittier Main Street. “We want to know what you want from us and from the district.”

One Suggestion Box will be a permanent fixture at the Kendall Whittier Library, 21 S. Lewis Ave. Suggestions and comments will be reviewed monthly.

“A second Suggestion Box will move around the district in different businesses and locations to target different demographics and make sure everyone gets a chance to see them,” Jackson Seay explained.

In January, that box can be found at Pancho Anaya Bakery, 2420 E. Admiral Blvd. The box location will move each month. Follow KWMS on social media (@visitKendallWhittier) to see where the box is each month.

Suggestion forms are available in English and Spanish at all locations.

Additionally, a website was created to offer another opportunity to give feedback.

“Comments can be anonymous or can include your contact information,” Jackson Seay said. “Contact information allows us to reach out to you with more questions or to let you know how we intend to tackle your idea.”

The form is open ended. Some questions to keep in mind when submitting include:

  • What is something you would change/keep about Kendall Whittier?
  • What would make you want to spend more/less time in KW?
  • What businesses/events would you like to see in KW?
