Kendall Whittier’s ever popular “K9s of K-Dub” 2022 Dog Calendar is still available for purchase, but supplies are running out fast!
The 12-month calendar, which was photographed, designed and printed in Kendall Whittier, features shop dogs and even a resident cat around the district.
Calendars will sale for $20 at select Kendall Whittier merchants: Circle Cinema, Ziegler Art & Frame, Eleanor’s Bookshop, This Land Store and Heirloom Rustic Ales. They can also be ordered online for pickup at the Main Street office.
It is a fundraiser for Kendall Whittier Main Street, and 100 percent of the proceeds go to supporting the ongoing revitalization of the historic Kendall Whittier area.
“Kendall Whittier is so dog friendly that it made this calendar a natural fit for us. You’ll see a lot of these pets in the businesses on a regular basis,” said Jessica Jackson Seay, executive director. “My calendar is hanging up in my office right now.”
American Heritage Bank sponsored the calendar, and Devon Herron, a local artist and photographer, took the photos. It was printed at The Bureau.
“These calendars were really popular around Christmas,” Jackson Seay said. “We have some left, but supplies are dwindling so I encourage anyone who wants one to grab it today!”
Kendall Whittier Main Street is a nonprofit organization striving to transform the area back to a thriving, walkable commercial district and supporting its ongoing growth. Kendall Whittier is a Certified Cultural District.
