What is it?

K-Dub Grub & Suds is a promotional and fundraising event hosted by Kendall Whittier Main Street, combining the best of Taste of Kendall Whittier and the Kendall Whittier Ale Trail. Guests will purchase tickets to visit the various breweries/businesses for food and beverage samples from Kendall Whittier business and restaurants. Guests can travel in whatever order and at whatever pace they want. 

What is the purpose?

To raise funds for Kendall Whittier Main Street while promoting local breweries and restaurants in the neighborhood. All proceeds support the promotion and restoration of Kendall Whittier as a thriving, walkable and welcoming community for living and working. 

How can I be a part of it (Breweries)?

As a Kendall Whittier brewery/libation location, we would love your participation! Benefits to you include exposure to the Tulsa community through promotion via 930+ email contacts and about 10,000+ social media followers, and traffic of around 150 guests with potential for each to become a regular customer.

We are asking participating breweries to provide sample pour (4oz) of two drinks/beers for 150 guests, space for 2-3 restaurants to set up and one dedicated staff member for the event. We do not expect you to be closed to the public.

Kendall Whittier Main Street will provide a $50 stipend to help support drink costs.

How can I be a part of it (Restaurants)?

As a Kendall Whittier restaurant, we would love your participation! Benefits to you include exposure to the Tulsa community through promotion via 930+ email contacts and about 10,000+ social media followers, and traffic of around 150 guests with potential for each to become a regular customer.

We are asking participating restaurants to provide sample-size bites of one or two signature items for 150 guests and provide 1-2 staff members to work the event inside a brewery with samples.

Kendall Whittier Main Street will provide  a a table with black tablecloth, two chairs at the assigned brewery and a $60 stipend to help support food costs.

Timeline:
July 9 – Deadline to be a participating brewery! Advertising begins
July 12 – Early-bird pricing opens for general public
July 23 – Price increases to full price
August 3 – Restaurant/Brewery pairings announced
August 13– Update on estimated number of samples needed (if less than 150)
August 20 – Ticket sales end (unless sold out previously)

Please fill out form below by July 9. Advanced notice on dishes will help us separate like-foods and allow breweries to find good beer pairings for a better overall event. We will do our best to satisfy your preferred location but we cannot guarantee it.
