Join us on Tuesday, April 19th at 7:00pm for a FREE screening of TRY HARDER! with a post-screening live zoom Q&A and conversation with director Debbie Lum facilitated by our host, Circle Cinema Board Member Gitzel Puente. This screening is brought to you by Indie Lens Pop-Up and Circle Cinema.
Sign language interpreting will be provided for the intro and Q&A through a partnership with TSHA. The film will be played with open captions.
About the film: With humor and heart, director Debbie Lum takes us to the reality of the American college application process and the intersection of class, race, and educational opportunity as experienced by high school seniors living through it.
Try Harder! will premiere on OETA on May 2, 2022.
