Think & Drink
Topic: “Welcome to the Jungle – The Wild Ride that is Adolescence in 2023”
Speaker: Ryan Myers, LPC
Date: Thursday • June 15th • 6:30p
There is no denying that adolescence is a season of life that involves waves of change that tend to occur in relatively short periods of time. It is a season filled with feeling big feelings and asking big questions while trying on all sorts of things in an effort to learn who we are and how we fit into the world. Whether you are a parent that has questions or concerns regarding how best to love and support your kid OR you are simply a fellow traveler on this weird adventure that is life as a human, I will lead us in a conversation drawing from my years of mental healthcare experience working with young people in various settings.
Ryan Myers, LPC
Having just completed his 11th academic year at Holland Hall as the Director of Counseling & Wellness, Ryan is a Licensed Professional Counselor that has spent his entire adulthood sharing life in some form or fashion with teenagers. After earning a Master’s of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tulsa, he served as a therapist in the Intensive Outpatient Program at Laureate Psychiatric Clinic & Hospital. Believing that we are all made for health, wholeness, and story, Ryan is a asker of many questions and someone that loves people with everything he’s got.
