The Flaming Lips document one of the most iconic images from the Covid-19 Pandemic era – the Space Bubble Concerts. Starting as simply an image that Wayne Coyne, the leader and visual artist of the band drew as a funny reflection about life in 2020, the image drew the attention of fans and media alike and the band moved to performing space bubble, Covid-safe concerts.

This film documents the challenges of putting on the show – from the shipping of the bubbles from China to making the bubbles audience-friendly – and the glory of the music with a band connecting to an audience in a fun, safe and socially-distant way – never tried before.
