71% of pet-owning survivors entering domestic violence shelters report that their abuser injured, killed, or threatened family pets; and only 15% of shelters have a kennel that allows survivors to bring their pets with them when they leave a dangerous situation.
Raise the woof with us in support of the DVIS emergency shelter’s kennel!
You and your canine family members are invited to have a brew and enter a raffle for a Marshall Brewing gift basket.
Each in-kind donation to the kennel – the first of its kind in Oklahoma – doubles as an entry into the raffle.
We’ll draw for a winner at the end of Wednesday evening, but Marshall will accept donations starting Monday.
Our most urgent needs this year include:
– dog & cat food (wet preferred)
– dog & cat toys
– flea prevention (collars, spray, etc.)
– blankets & towels
– kitty litter
