National Silent Movie Day at Circle Cinema

September 30, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Circle Cinema is joining theaters across the country to celebrate the first National Silent Movie Day on Wednesday September 29 at 2pm, with encore screening Thursday September 30 at 7pm! See The Navigator, one of the silent era’s most beloved comedies from 1924 starring the great Buster Keaton. Plus a short with the silent movie cartoon king, Felix the Cat.
Bill Rowland of the American Theater Organ Society will play a live original score for the films on Circle Cinema’s restored 1928 Robert Morton theatre pipe organ. The very organ that entertained Circle’s first crowds in 1928 is still in action today!
Tickets are just $5 for adults and $2 for kids 16 and under.
With support from the American Theater Organ Society Sooner State Chapter and Arts Alliance Tulsa
National Silent Movie Day is an annual celebration dedicated to preserving and creating access to silent movies, a vastly misunderstood and neglected cinematic art form.
