Throughout the month of November, Circle Cinema is partnering with Kendall Whittier, Inc. for a food drive, asking for donations of shelf-stable food items which are in good condition and unexpired.

Admission: FREE + Donation of shelf-stable food item (List below).

The food drive will kick off on Fri, Nov 6 7:30 (arrive at 7:00) with a special screening of ‘Harry Chapin: When in Doubt, Do Something’. Beloved as a singer and songwriter, Harry Chapin was also an advocate who worked tirelessly to end world hunger. This new documentary explores his life, music, and the tremendous things he accomplished before his tragic passing in 1981. The film will then continue to screen daily, and anyone who brings an item to donate with a ticket purchase to any Circle Cinema film will receive a free small popcorn.

Kendall Whittier, Inc. was first established by a coalition of neighborhood churches in 1968 as a response to the deterioration of the neighborhood, KWI is a home-grown organization incorporating self-sufficiency for our neighbors through food security, nutritional health, and well-being.

Suggested food items needed:
Canned or jarred sources of protein (meat, fish, poultry, peanut butter, etc.)
Boxes of Cereal
Bottles of Juice
Shelf-stable milk (liquid, not powdered)

Safety: The event will set up in the back parking lot off Admiral and Gillette. Film will be shown on our new 20’ outdoor screen with social distanced seating. Presenting films in this setting will ensure social distancing guidelines are adhered to while you and friends enjoy movies on the big screen.
