After dominating the boxing world, Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) has been thriving in both his career and family life. When a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy, Damian (Jonathan Majors), resurfaces after serving a long sentence in prison, he is eager to prove that he deserves his shot in the ring. The face off between former friends is more than just a fight. To settle the score, Adonis must put his future on the line to battle Damian — a fighter who has nothing to lose.
About Randy Blake: As the nickname suggests, Randy “Boom Boom” Blake is a knockout artist who makes a habit of leaving his opponents on the canvas. The native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, is the reigning, 5-Time ISKA Heavyweight World Champion and is notable for combining speed with power, particularly when it comes to kicking. Blake took up martial arts following a childhood viewing of the Jean-Claude Van Damme movie “Bloodsport.” He says he has seen the movie “probably a thousand times” since he first came across it as a six-year-old boy. Following his first viewing, he took to kicking things around the house, so his parents enrolled him in a karate school. Blake has never looked back; karate led to kickboxing and a career that has seen him win major world titles and pass through major organizations such as Chuck Norris’ World Combat League, K-1, and GLORY. Randy is a two-time Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductee, father, life coach, motivational speaker and #1 bestselling author. He is currently speaking to audiences in his role as a life coach and goal setting mentor in addition to virtual kickboxing seminars.
About Aaron Sloan: The Engine Room Boxing Gym at 316 E. 11th Street is owned and operated by Aaron Sloan, a registered cardiac nurse, President of the Kansas-Oklahoma Golden Gloves franchise, and a USA Boxing-certified coach, judge and referee. The Engine Room offers competition and fitness training, as well as the Ready to Fight Parkinson’s Specific program. Developed by Coach Sloan in 2016, RTF is now the official therapy-boxing program of USA Boxing. Sloan also owns and operates Engine Room VR, a game development company. The company is working in partnership with USA Boxing on an e-Sports initiative using Golden Gloves VR, a virtual reality boxing game developed by ERVR and available on the Early Access Section of the Oculus store and on Steam.
