On July 20, 1969, our species took a giant leap by reaching the surface of another celestial body for the first time. 50 years later, as we prepare for a larger leap to Mars, let’s celebrate this massive accomplishment that required the hard work and dedication of hundreds of thousands of people around the world!

Moon and space-related merch, moon-themed drinks, moon-themed snacks, and moon-shaped things of all sorts!

Art show!
Commemorative moon display pieces created by local artists will be available to purchase. Proceeds support the artists and charity.
Artists: We’ve got 3″ wood balls available for you to create your own celebration of humanity’s accomplishment of reaching our orbital partner. Come pick up a free ball at the shop ($3 for each additional) to make your version of the moon. Just be sure to return it by July 19 for it to be included in the show.

Paint your own moon!
A painting area will be set up for people to join in the fun of creating their own commemorative moons.

Conspiracists can join in on the fun, too! Come celebrate the (alleged) greatest (alleged) hoax ever perpetrated. (Alleged) director Stanley Kubrick’s (alleged) masterpiece will be projected for everyone to experience this (alleged) historical moment.
