Kendall Whittier comes alive with local art vendors, gallery shows, food trucks, live music, interactive art and kids activities, creating an environment to enjoy and foster the arts for the whole family.

Kendall Whittier Main Street is a Certified Cultural District, a 2020 Great American Main Street and home to art staples like Tulsa Girls Art School, Circle Cinema and Ziegler Art & Frame.

2024 Vendor Information & Application

FESTIVAL RULES

ALLOWABLE ITEMS: Original handmade clay, drawing/pastel, fiber, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, handmade body products, wood and mixed media works.

PROHIBITED ITEMS: Include, but are not limited to, commercially-produced work, food and furnishings, as well as not-for-profit organizations, political candidates and organizations, and booths for the purpose of community education and outreach on issues. Fundraising and/or donation solicitations are prohibited. The prohibition of any goods is at the sole discretion of Kendall Whittier Main Street.

FLIERS/SIGNS: Only fliers and signs related to goods displayed and sold at Kendall Whittier Arts Festival are allowed. No political fliers or signs can be handed out or displayed.

LAWS: Vendors are responsible for abiding by all applicable city, county, state and federal laws/regulations.

SALES TAX PERMIT:  Vendors are required submit their sales tax permit ID number with their application or remit sales tax through the Oklahoma Tax Commission following the event. Each artist is responsible for charging, collecting and properly remitting all applicable Oklahoma sales taxes to the Oklahoma Tax Commission.

BOOTH RULES

• All vendors supplying their own tent are required to securely tie and/or weigh down their tents for the safety of our patrons. Artists who do not secure their tent will be asked to leave the festival.

• All vendors are responsible for carrying their own product liability insurance.

• No portable fuel containers, oily rags or flammable trash be located in booth areas.

• All vendors must bring trash bags for booth clean up. Each vendor is responsible for maintaining his/her booth area in a clean, neat manner throughout the day and for cleaning his/her area before departing at the end of the day. Arts Festival trash cans are for customer use only. 

• Kendall Whittier Main Street reserves the right to request an artist leave the festival, in its sole judgment, if the artist’s booth does not conform to show guidelines or if their art is inconsistent with the work that was submitted in the application.

HOURS / SETUP 

HOURS OF OPERATION: Oct. 19, 2024 from 10am-6pm 

LOCATION: Admiral Blvd. from Yorktown to Lewis

SET-UP: Vendors will be allowed to start setting up their booths at 8am, Saturday, October 19, 2024. Booth artists must have their vehicles moved to designated parking immediately after unloading – and no later than 45 minutes prior to the festival beginning – for the safety of our patrons. Vendors are required to be fully set up by 9:30am. Late set-up will not be allowed. 

TEAR-DOWN: Booth artists are expected to have cleaned up their booth area and left the premises by 7pm Saturday, October 19 for streets to be re-opened. Early tear-down will not be allowed. Early tear-down could result in prohibition at future KWMS events.

SECURITY: Security will be provided on the festival grounds during event. However, Kendall Whittier Main Street does not assume responsibility for loss, damage, or theft of work or display materials, or for personal injury.

FESTIVAL FEES: Kendall Whittier Main Street does not take a percentage of sales.

BOOTH RULES

• All beer & food vendors must have all appropriate licensing through ABLE Commission, Oklahoma Sales Tax Commission and Tulsa Health Department to set up at the event.

• All beer & food vendors must provide a Certificate of Insurance for the event listing Kendall Whittier Main Street as an additional insured.

• Accommodations will be made to allow for restocking during festival hours. Please make every attempt to have beer and food available during the entire festival!

• Beer must be served by beer vendors only. Beer can be served out of a keg (with submitted Food Handlers’ Permit) or in cans. Please no glass.

Vendors are responsible for the tracking of and/or payment of sales tax.
